Love, Arizona

Timings

Our time together begins at 4pm on the 8th of May and ends at 1:30 pm on the 11th May.

Please schedule your transport to arrive no earlier than 4pm!

If delayed, simply message Samantha at +1 219 689 1729.

We will have time to settle and explore before a historic guided tour of the house and grounds,  dinner and our opening ceremony.

The full schedule will be shared on arrival.

We will depart after lunch on Monday 11th by 1:30pm.

Location

We will be gathering at the beautiful Erth Retreat, the oldest manor house in Cornwall, set within largely undisturbed land on the Erth Peninsula. The land is lovingly tended, the history ancient and rich. The entire site is thought to have been a medieval village, complete with C12 chapel still standing that we will be practicing in.

Travel

There are a few ways to get to the retreat site and some details have been included below. We have also linked a google sheets document that you can add yourself to with your travel details, contact information, whether you wish to travel to the retreat site with someone, if you wish you travel before/after (could be fun with a friend!), and space for any other notes.

Please see the document here

Take the M5 south towards Exeter. After Exeter, join the A38 towards Plymouth. Continue past Plymouth and cross the Tamar Bridge into Cornwall.

At the first roundabout (Carkeel), take the 2nd exit signposted Liskeard. Head up the hill for about a mile and take the 4th left signposted Trematon.

Drive through Trematon until you reach a V in the road at a pink house. Take the right-hand option (roads narrow from here).

Continue for about 2 miles until you reach Elmgate, marked by a yellow house in the middle of the road with a black postbox. Take the right-hand turn beside the house and follow the road uphill.

Ignore Sat Nav from this point and do not turn left. Continue past Tredown Farm. White signs will mark entry to the Erth Peninsula. Please drive slowly as animals roam freely.
